Some examples are Growpal, Eragano, Pasarnow, Kedai Sayur, Tunas Farm etc. Some of the major funding rounds in the Indonesian Agritech space include Tanihub’s latest funding round of more than 65 million USD at the Series B stage. The Indonesian government has provided support to agritech startups through various initiatives such as JEJALA ID, which is a four month long networking event connecting startups and investors on a common platform.

4. Agriculture War Room (AWR), Smart Farming 4.0, and Kostratani are some of the several digital initiatives for agriculture in Indonesia.

The AWR monitoring system generates information on paddy fields, the fertilizer supply and harvest areas using advanced technologies like satellites, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence. Additionally, Smart Farming 4.0 is a technology-based smart farming method. The technologies used include Agriculture Drone Sprayer (pesticide and liquid fertilizer drones), Drone Surveillance (drones for land mapping), and Soil and Weather Sensors. Furthermore, World Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) are providing funding towards Kostratani, in particular for procurement of ICT devices and technical assistance on digitalization process, in Indonesia which increases the agritech market growth.
