Viscose staple fiber is a type of unique fiber that possesses same characteristics like cotton. It is obtained from dissolved wood pulp and sodium hydroxide in the presence of carbon disulfide. Viscose staple fiber is also recognized as hybrid nylon fiber. It is made up of the alkali cellulose and present in sodium cellulose xanthate form. Viscose staple fiber is a regenerated cellulose fiber.
